GivingTuesday

Giving back isn’t canceled. Join us on December 1st for GivingTuesday!

In this time of uncertainty, there’s a fundamental truth that gives us hope – that together we can do extraordinary things.

With your help, we can continue to provide families and their sick children daily meals, a full pantry, and the comfort that comes from knowing your next meal is taken care of.

There are two ways to support our families this GivingTuesday:

  1. Give a cash gift to help us meet our goal of $5,000 to continue feeding families through the end of the year.
  2. Stuff The Pantry by donating pantry items through our Amazon Wish List or by dropping them off at the Ronald McDonald House of Washington, DC located at 3727 14th St. NE, Washington, DC 20017.

In this challenging time for us all, every gift matters. Your donation of will help us continue to provide meals for our families, even while our common spaces are closed due to COVID-19 safety precautions.

Without being able to prepare a meal or enjoy a volunteer-made meal, we must order in from commercial kitchens and provide shelf-stable food items to feed our families.

If you have $10 or shelf-stable food items to spare, your gift will feed a family staying with us.

How Your Donation Helps:

  • $10 buys a case of bottled beverages for guests.
  • $35 gives a family of five a bagged breakfast to take to the hospital.
  • $82 provides a week of on-the-go lunch kits for a family.
  • $200 will purchase gift cards to local restaurants so families can enjoy a warm meal while area businesses are supported.
  • $500 fills the pantry with shelf stable items for one month.
  • $750 feeds our entire House of up to 70 guests for dinner!

Thank you, your donation provides a glimmer of hope for our families, and seriously ill children being treated at local hospitals.
