Weekend House Manager
The Weekend Manager is responsible for implementing the mission, goals, and objectives of RMHC under the direction of the Director of Operations and House Manager. The Weekend Manager temporarily manages the day-to-day operations of Ronald McDonald House and assures that RMHC policies and procedures are appropriately implemented.
Success in this position will require fitting into the culture of Ronald McDonald House Charities. This will require a passion for the mission of the organization and for the families it serves. It will also require sensitivity to the needs of families under stress and the ability to work with a variety of volunteers.
Ronald McDonald Family Room Evening/Weekend Coordinator
This is a part-time position covering one weekend afternoon and two or three nights a week. The position requires regular attendance in order to effectively fulfill the requirements of the job. The Ronald McDonald Family Room Evening/Weekend Coordinator helps to oversee the operation of the RMFR at Children’s National.
The RMFR Coordinator is hired and supervised by Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Washington DC (RMHCDC) staff but works on-site at Children’s National. The RMFR Coordinator provides room coverage, helps to recruit, train, schedule, and supervise volunteers, develops and implements programming for parents and other caregivers, ensures that the Family Room is stocked and maintained, and assists with other duties as assigned.
Community Engagement Coordinator
The Community Engagement Coordinator performs diverse responsibilities in support of RMHCDC’s community outreach efforts. The Coordinator reports to the Director of Marketing and Community Engagement and works closely with the Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications to spread the word about the families cared for by RMHCDC and the three core program areas. This person assists with donor relations, speaking engagements, and workplace giving opportunities.

It will require the ability to work with a variety of volunteers, including board members, who support and help the organization. It will also require sensitivity to the needs and passions of a diverse staff.
