Give more families the support and care they need to focus on helping their child fight for their life.
Thank you for your interest in providing a home-cooked meal for the families at Ronald McDonald House!
More than ever, we need your help to Feed The House! While preparing meals for our families will look different for some time, we want to ensure we can still provide comforting meals to our guests.
We encourage small meal groups, gift cards, meal drop offs/deliveries from local restaurants, and/or individual frozen meals. We also accept pre-assembled Take Home Meal Kits to provide families with shelf-stable food for their first day or two back home, until they can make it to the grocery store.
To provide a meal, schedule a delivery, or drop off take home meal kits, visit our Sign Up page and click on the location you would like to volunteer and scroll down to view the available dates. Click “Sign Up” next to the date you are interested in and fill out your information. Gift cards and checks can be mailed to 3727 14th St. NE, Washington, DC 20017. Donations can also be made online.

Q: How many people can I bring?
A: Currently, we are allowing up to four people in a meal group.
Q: Do I need to bring any groceries?
A: Nope, we provide the recipe and ingredients! Please don’t bring any outside food. All meals must be prepared in our kitchen.
Q: What time should I arrive at the house?
A: Please plan to arrive by 4PM. Dinner is usually served by 5:30PM.
Q: Do I need to stay to serve the families?
A: If there are families in the kitchen when you are finished preparing the meal, you can make them a plate if they ask. We have volunteers individually package the meal after preparing. Once everything is packaged and cleaning is done, you do not have to stay to serve the families.
