04 Oct 2018 Mid-Atlantic Women’s Leadership Award Goes To
Julie Jones, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Washington, DC Board Chair!
Because the welfare of sick children and their families is dear to Julie’s heart, she pursued a leadership role with us that led to her election as Board Chair, extending her time to serve these deserving families.
RMHCDC was lucky to find a champion and supporter in Julie Jones, a Partner at Raffa, the firm we hired for consultation in governance support.
Throughout her years on our Board, Julie has encouraged her firm to become more involved with the charity through creation of a Red Shoe 5k team and a company-wide annual Denim Day benefiting the families we serve. When Julie became the RMHCDC Board Chair, she asked her company to step up their commitment, along with her own. It was easy for Raffa to say yes to a Caring Partnership because of the firm’s commitment to supporting the community and the causes their employees support.
Today we celebrate the high level of effort and support she has for the RMHCDC mission and families and congratulate Julie on being honored as a 2018 Mid-Atlantic Women’s Leadership Award winner.

We are so grateful to Julie for being our champion and using her time, talent, and resources to make a positive impact on the lives of families with sick children.
