Ronald McDonald House® of Washington, D.C.

The Nation’s 16th Ronald McDonald House

The Ronald McDonald House of Washington, D.C. opened its doors in 1980 and we have served patients from Children’s National Hospital, MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, National Rehabilitation Hospital and several other area hospitals ever since.

The newly renovated 32-bedroom House offers 4 isolation suites for our most immune-compromised patients and several common areas. These include a family kitchen, dining room, gym, laundry room, and large outdoor playground.

Services include ride shares to and from the hospital, WiFi, weekly programs, and meals provided by volunteer groups.
