Washington, DC (March 7, 2025) – Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Washington, DC (RMHCDC) welcomes Sam Kussin-Shoptaw as the inaugural Chair of its Corporate Council. In this leadership role, Sam will strengthen RMHCDC’s engagement with the business community, forging corporate partnerships to expand support for families with critically ill children.
The Corporate Council consists of a select group of 25 leading companies across various industries, all dedicated to removing barriers, strengthening families, and promoting healing. Through strategic connections, volunteerism, and charitable giving, council members will partner with RMHCDC to drive impactful community change and advance shared philanthropic goals.
Sam is an Enterprise Account Executive for Non-Profits at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he helps mission-driven organizations leverage cloud technology for greater impact. With experience in both public and private sectors, he has guided digital transformation efforts for major nonprofits, including the American Red Cross and the American Heart Association.
