J&J Oriental Rug Gallery is a first time Caring Partner. Read on to find out more about what drew J&J Oriental Rug Gallery to our mission.
About 20 years ago, the co-founder of J&J Oriental Rug Gallery, Joshua Nabatkhorian, visited our Ronald McDonald House of Washington, DC. While there, Joshua met a young Persian mother who had newly arrived from Iran seeking treatment for her young son who suffered from severe cancer. As an Iranian immigrant and a father, himself, it broke Joshua’s heart to see this family’s suffering. He walked out of the Ronald McDonald House a changed person.
From then on, Joshua was on a mission to raise funds in support of families with hospitalized children. Impressed with how well the families of sick children were taken care of by Ronald McDonald House of Washington, DC, becoming a Caring Partner was a natural fit.
Call out quote: J&J Oriental Rug Gallery is very passionate about supporting local non-profit organizations and continues to do this every year.

In Hebrew, this translate to “repairing the world.” Consistent with this goal, J&J Oriental Rug Gallery is very passionate about supporting local non-profit organizations and continues to do this every year. As a company and as a part of the Washington D.C. community, J&J Oriental Rug Gallery is committed to supporting RMHCDC and the families we care for.
